I’m Amy Burbank, a historical fiction author-in-progress and the voice behind Traveling Author Amy. My debut novel is inspired by the Titanic and the world on the brink of World War I, exploring themes of resilience, hope, and the enduring human spirit.
My Writing Journey
The spark for this story began on my first transatlantic cruise, where the vastness of the open sea stirred a narrative that wouldn’t let me go. Since then, my journey as a writer has been shaped by travel, research, and a love for uncovering untold histories. From walking through Paris’s literary cafés to standing before the Titanic Museum in Belfast, I’ve found inspiration in the places where history still lingers.
